Program functionality
CAD400 is a modern 2D/3D CAD design and construction system, with an intuitive interface for the engineer. The interface can be configured, and toolbar-saving is user-specific. CAD400 utilises the ACIS geometry core, thereby supporting broad standards. The division into M/G/K/E and additionally into layers enables the user to work in a structured manner. Functionalities such as: multi-combination manipulation (copying, shifting, rotating, mirroring, scaling), object attributes, measurement and computation, library function with graphic preview, elements and artificial lines for construction, parts list Boolean operations, 3D control body, 3D definition (Extrude, Trans, Design), hidden line, plotting/printing, read/store are integral components of EliteCAD. Intelligent mechanics objects like: Processing (parameter-set), drilling, lowering, slot, base plate, construction elements, gear wheel, wave generator, clutches, belt wheel, form- and position tolerance levels, positioning and parts-list information, 2D kinematics for complex lever systems, calculation of resistance- and inertia moments are likewise standard for CAD400.
