Company History
Roland Messerli, a graduate-engineer founded the firm Roland Messerli Informatik in 1978 Zurich (CH) and has been managing director of the firm ever since. The young firm began developing software for tendering in construction, and with its ingenious technology soon seized the Swiss market of the construction industry. The ensuing distribution network now formed the basis for continued expansion of the firm. Mr Messerli’s goal in creating an integrated design solution from plan until tender had been made reachable with the ever-increasing development in computing. The alliance with an Austrian CAD - technology firm enabled Messerli Informatik to gain a greater foothold in the market. The development of the CAD software was then increasingly controlled by Messerli AG, and around the turn of the millennium, the CAD firm was fully taken over. This was the beginning of the European expansion.The CAD technology is now available in numerous languages and is used in various sectors throughout Europe. Today, The Messerli group employs over a hundred staff.
In addition to the European expansion, The Swiss markets have been supplied with various administrative support programs including CRM-technology, financial applications, electrical planning solutions and construction cost planning software.
New markets are being tapped into worldwide and the existing customer network can enjoy a high degree of satisfaction. Customer suggestions and innovative ideas are incorporated into the software, and in this way, such current market needs are covered. This justifies the qualitative and continuous growth.
